When it comes to personal growth or personal development work, we hear a lot about self-love.

I have a deeply held belief that self-love is really the foundation, the cornerstone for all of the goodness in life for so many reasons.

If we want to do the work to evolve and create a happy & fulfilling life for ourselves, it takes some effort - yes it takes some work to get out of life what we are really craving! If we don't feel worthy of evolving or living our happiest life, we tend to not do the work. Why would you if you don't feel like you’re worth it?

But HOW do you love yourself you might be thinking? Someone just telling you that you need to love yourself more to live a happier life doesn’t help much, does it?

Self-love has been a big journey for me and will continue to be for the rest of my days. Because it’s been such a big & impactful journey for me that continues, it’s also one of my favorite topics to work with my clients around. We ALL need this work.

But how do we DO it?

In my coaching practice, I’m all about action steps. I’m going to share with you today the single most impactful thing you can do in building a relationship based on love with yourself.

Here it is: We are in our own minds 100% of the time, and so learning to have loving self talk with ourselves can impact how we operate in every way and impact our level of self love the most.

Whether it’s how you talk about yourself with your voice out loud, or whether it’s what your internal voice is saying. It impacts you greatly. It creates how you feel about yourself.

I want to share a short & powerful video with you. I think that when it comes to self-talk - this might be the most impactful thing that you could watch. And it’ only 3 minutes long! Please do yourself a favor and take just a few minutes to watch the video below. Let it sit with you. Let it sink in.

If you have some thoughts you’d like to share with me around it, I”m all ears. I’d love to hear from you.

Next week, I’m going to write to you about practical & actionable ways that you can create a habit of loving self-talk, which if you decide to put effort into, will change how everything in life feels for the better.

ENJOY the video below & have an amazing rest of your week!
